It is a great honor to follow the footsteps of Sandro Ferrari, Founding and President of Brace Yourself Orthopaedics & ORTHOpaws who has made a significant contribution to our society: in the same way the 
name Enzo Ferrari is synonymous with the performance of his legendary cars, the name Sandro Ferrari is synonymous with the performance of the human body. His mission is to improve mobility through innovative, customized prosthetic solutions, by providing biomechanically effective prescription devices and using a state-of-the-art technology which is able to offer an enhanced quality of life for patients. Since 1999, Brace Yourself Orthopaedics has been committed to the enhancement of physical activity at any level through a wide range of products. Brace Yourself Orthopaedics specialises in providing custom measure knee braces for common joint problems and sports injuries, but especially osteoarthritis. Services range from helping patients regain their mobility from normal wear and tear to blunt force injuries, and from mall walkers to elite level athletes competing at the highest levels of amateur and professional sports. Our approach to incorporating a functional knee brace as part of a program that includes strength training, flexibility, and technique modification, speeds recovery and brings patients back to a near pre-injury condition.
LA SUA CARRIERA
Sandro Ferrari è nel campo ortopedico dal 1993. Oltre a lavorare come RT ortopedico avanzato presso l’Humber River Hospital di Toronto, è anche l’orgoglioso proprietario del Brace Yourself Orthopaedics e di ORTHOpaws, un brand nato dall’amore per gli animali domestici. Un luminare nella sua specializzazione; la sua clientela spazia infatti dai giocatori di hockey NHL, poiché era lo specialista ufficiale del Toronto Maple Leafs, a campioni olimpici e golfisti della fama di Tiger Woods. Ma la sua notorietà non si esaurisce con gli atleti poiché ha anche trattato l’icona canadese e il vero gentiluomo, Paul Henderson l’osannatissimo attore e regista di Hollywood e l’icona rock Phil X, chitarrista Bon Jovi che è anche diventato anche suo grandissimo amico. Il suo viscerale amore rimane però legato a quelli che lui definisce “i guerrieri del fine settimana“. Dal 1999, Brace Yourself Orthopaedics è impegnata nel potenziamento dell’attività fisica a qualsiasi livello attraverso una vasta gamma di prodotti di supporto ortopedici e nella fornitura di tutori per ginocchia su misura per problemi articolari comuni e lesioni sportive, in particolare l’artrosi. La sua missione è aiutare i pazienti a riacquistare la loro mobilità dall’usura normale alle lesioni da forza contundente accelerandone il recupero e riportandoli a una condizione quasi pre-infortunio. “Credere in quello che sappiamo fare, e farlo sempre meglio” questa è la filosofia che da sempre caratterizza la storia di Brace Yourself Orthopaedics a cui Sandro Ferrari ha dedicato energia e passione.
